Reverie State began in 2022 as Adventure Story, a small creative project exploring the connection between scent and place. Over time, it evolved into something deeper: a reflection on the moments that shape us, the songs that stay with us, and the scents that bring those memories rushing back.
Today, Reverie State exists to honor those quiet, powerful fragments of nostalgia... the ones that remind us who we are and where we’ve been. Each candle, incense, and room spray is crafted as an artifact of nostlagia, meant to help you slow down, remember, and feel.
Our scents are intentionally layered and a little mysterious, designed not just to fill a space, but to spark emotion. Each candle or incense is paired with a curated playlist, transforming scent into a full sensory experience — part fragrance, part story, part time capsule.

It all started with a coconut candle my mom had in our living room when I was a kid. The smell of coconut will forever take me back to childhood. As I grew older, I learned that scent and sound are two of the most powerful storytellers we have. Music has always made me feel; scent has always made me remember. Reverie State grew from that belief... from my own desire to reconnect with the warmth, wonder, and simplicity of my past while helping others do the same.
After years in corporate IT, I wanted to create something more intimate, something that would help people slow down and reconnect with the places and times that made them who they are. Reverie State is the result: a love letter to memory, emotion, and the beauty of slowing down in nostalgic remembrance.
My hope is that when you light one of our candles, spray a mist, or listen to a playlist, you feel that familiar sense of homecoming... that quiet reminder that the best parts of life aren’t gone. They’re just waiting to be remembered.
